Sydney, Australia – Elcom, a leading Digital Experience Platform provider, is proud to announce the successful launch of Northern Inland Credit Union (NICU)'s new website. As a community-driven, member-owned financial institution, the new website marks a significant milestone in NICU’s commitment to providing exceptional service and accessibility to its members.
With their existing website nearing end of life. Elcom was selected for their proven experience in web development, exceptional customer service, and cost-effective solutions.
From the outset, Elcom's approach was collaborative and focused. A dedicated project manager and weekly catch-ups were instrumental in maintaining an agile development workflow. Brad Moffet, Digital Marketing Manager at NICU praised Elcom’s commitment stating, “Elcom went above and beyond to get things done according to our deadline. The team were helpful and extremely capable. And it's evident through the build. It wasn't just a transactional process; it was more about what they could do to help us meet our goals. They regularly made suggestions on what they thought would be easier for us to manage or better suited to our needs than what it was previously.”
The new website, completed in just seven weeks, stands as a testament to Elcom's capability to execute under pressure without compromising on quality. It features enhanced navigation, improved accessibility for vision-impaired users, and an intuitive interface for comparing financial products. Significant improvements include a custom tool on the Home Loan and Personal Loan pages for better product comparison, integrated forms for a unified user experience, and advanced security features.
The backend system, designed with user-friendliness in mind, streamlines the administration and management process, enabling NICU to easily create and update content. This ensures the website can evolve alongside NICU's needs.
The website has already shown a return on investment, with a decrease in call centre inquiries and increased time on the website, indicating that users are finding the interface more navigable and informative.
As NICU looks to the future, plans are already underway to further enhance the website’s functionality, including automating the account sign-up process.
Commenting on the experience, Moffet explains, “We were blown away by the quick turnaround time. We turned it out quickly, but still achieved everything we would have if it was a six-month build. We are extremely happy with the quality of the site and what was delivered.”
Josh Anstey, Customer Solutions Director at Elcom comments, “Elcom's work with NICU demonstrates the impact of combining a collaborative partnership approach, technological expertise, and a focus on customer needs to enhance digital experiences. We look forward to continuing to support NICU on their digital journey.”
