Building Smarter Forms with Conditional Logic

Good form design goes a long way, but it can be tricky to balance when there’s a lot of data to collect.

Long forms with complex paths can be difficult to navigate, and frustrating to complete when many questions don’t apply. Generic forms that are kept simple often don’t capture enough details and then require time-sucking follow up to get the full picture.

This session focuses on three tools to help improve a form’s usability: panels for grouping fields and sectioning shorter forms, pages for sectioning longer forms, and leveraging conditional logic to show, hide, or repeat relevant sections when needed.
