Community Manager V6.0 has been launched

Key enhancements
The newest version of CommunityManager.NET is version 6.0 which is a major upgrade that includes a raft of enhancements and new features.
The following list details some of the most important improvements:
Completely revamped User Interface
Redesigned from the ground up, the new admin user interface streamlines all administration and content management tasks, providing a consistent interface, dramatically enhanced usability and much quicker response times. |
API
A fully exposed API has been added in the V6 release, allowing enterprises to build their own integration interfaces, as well as enhancing the functionality of core CM modules. |
Parallel Workflow
The CM workflow engine now features true parallel workflow, with unlimited numbers of workflow ‘baskets’ and workflow branches, all managed via a new slick GUI screen. Workflow has been Community Manager’s fastest growing module in terms of enterprise uptake, and with parallel workflow now fully supported, Enterprise processes can be even further improved. |
Corporate directory V2
The corporate directory module has been significantly enhanced with additional search capabilities, extra fields, and intelligent linking capabilities. |
Calendar overlays
The calendar and event functions have always been a strong feature in Community Manager. Now with Calendar overlays, users can see events from other users and groups all consolidated into a single view. Access to other calendars is controlled via simple security permissions. |
Training Manager V2
Only six months after its initial release and this popular module has received a substantial UI upgrade. Training Pathways are all created and managed via the new graphical pathway console, with branching and user progress all neatly displayed. Enhanced user controls have been added, and additional reports provided. |
Brand new forum module
Community Manager now includes a customised, fully integrated version of the popular Yet Another Forum application. Centralised user administration and interaction with CM security make this a compelling option. |
Improved Security Management
Security, user and group management has been significantly streamlined. Simple organising of permissions make the powerful granular controls easy to use. |

There’s been considerable enhancement to the publishing controls, including easy tagging, |
Content Manager V2
The content Manager module has been enhanced, allowing easier management of ALL content, including articles, images, video and audio from one easily searchable screen. |
Increased Rich Media Support
In addition to the existing WMV and SWF support, Community Manager now supports FLV, and sports a new in-built skinable FLV player. |
Online Store Taxonomy
The Online Store module now has complete taxonomy support fully integrated. Searches and taxonomy widgets return results that now encompass the complete product inventory. |
Online Help

Hosting plans
