The Requirement
LoanAustralia is an online discount lender that required a complete redesign of their website. The website had not been redesigned since 2006 and was a large website with a huge amount of information. The website was not very accessible, hard to navigate and as a result users couldn’t find information.
LoanAustralia engaged with Elcom with the following needs:
- Redesign the website
- Integrate certain features from the old website
- Centralise information so that certain information could be edited in one place and automatically changed throughout the website. This would ensure that LoanAustralia was compliant with relevant industry legislation. E.g. change the current interest rate in one place so that it updates the whole website
- Provide a Enterprise Content Management System that made it easy and simple for anyone in the organisation to update the website regardless of their IT skills
- Convey the professional corporate image of LoanAustralia
The Solution
Elcom provided LoanAustralia with CommunityManager.NET, an Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS) that made the website easy and simple to update for anyone in the organisation. The solution enabled Loan Australia to update interest rates in one place and automatically update the rest of the website.
CommunityManager.NET allowed LoanAustralia to focus on the content of the website rather than the development of presenting the content on the website.
