The Requirement
The Australia Technology Showcase (ATS) saw a need to upgrade its website to create an internet portal where visitors could search for particular businesses using a variety of criteria. It wanted to be able to implement event management and business matching as well as allow members to login and manage their details and it wanted to use Microsoft’s Content Management Server (CMS) 2002 and leverage off its versatile .Net platform.
As a Microsoft Gold Partner with extensive .NET experience, Elcom was the obvious choice to implement the ATS’ vision. Elcom met the challenge by integrating its flagship product CommunityManager.NET with Microsoft’s CMS enabling it to also exploit the versatility inherent in CommunityManager.NET’s plug in modules to provide the extra functionality ATS required.
The project was delivered on time, on budget, and revolutionised the way the Australian Technology Showcase presents member technologies to potential business partners and markets around the world. Richard McKie, CEO of the ATS said he was very pleased not only with the finished product but also with the whole process of working with a Microsoft Gold Partner.
