The Requirements

Aldridge Traffic Controllers (ATC) engaged Elcom to build and host a new website for the company that would assist it in marketing its products and services not only to customers in Australia but overseas customers where it sees it future growth.

The requirements of the project included:

• A user-friendly website with a powerful CMS
• Improving customer service with helpdesk, personalised login, product support section and latest news
• Implement Helpdesk System to deliver effective customer service and product support
• Improve brand awareness
• Promote the new SCATS system
• Create a Product Support Section of the website that would provide brochures and product information to customers and enable them to log problems
• Increase business traffic through the website
• Increase search engine ranking
• Increase Aldridge’s market leading position
• Showcase Aldridge’s traffic control system’s
• Implement audit process for content and form approval (workflow)
• Provide reporting facility to track user access and content updates

The Solution

Elcom implemented CommunityManager.NET, Elcom’s Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS) to power the Aldridge Traffic Controller website. The website was designed so that it was user-friendly and enabled Aldridge Traffic Controllers to increase brand awareness and convey its corporate message.

Aldridge Traffic Controllers were able to improve customer service and product support with sections of the website dedicated to providing brochures and product information to customers while also allowed them to log problems they were experiencing.

The website was designed to increase business by increasing website traffic through search engine optimisation.

A number of modules were activated to further enhance Aldridge Traffic Controllers functionality including Workflow, E-Mail Marketing, Process Management and Audit Trail. With these modules the requirements of the project were met, providing Aldridge Traffic Controllers with a feature-rich and user-friendly website.
