Reponse to Security Announcement

In reference to the recent Security Advisory announcement from Sense of Security Labs, Elcom would like to assure all clients that any issues pertaining to the aforementioned announcement were resolved when this issue was first raised.

Sense of Security Labs produced its findings to Elcom in early 2010. From there, Elcom was able to expediently patch all current versions of CommunityManager.NET and ensure all client websites maintained the highest levels of security.

As part of Elcom’s dedicated focus on quality and security, all software is constantly and rigorously tested for vulnerabilities during product development. In addition, many clients have successfully run penetration tests of their installations of CommunityManager.NET, since the patches were applied.

Elcom prides itself on offering a high-quality product and will continue such testing as part of its approach to maintaining its quality standards.
