Elcom showcases eCommerceManager.NET at the Online Retailer

Elcom attended the Online Retailer Exhibition and Conference from the 6-8 July at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, to showcase it’s eCommerce Manager, developed as part of the CommunityManager.NET CMS platform. 

The Online Retailer is Australia’s premier e-retailing event and this year nearly doubled the number of delegates, with over 4000 pre-registrations.  The event was split into three main areas:

1. Web Marketing, Customer Acquisition, Web Selling & Merchandising
2. Small E-retailers – strategies & tactics, Site design, Content & Performance
3. E-Commerce Insights & Solutions, Multichannel Retailing Essentials

There was a diverse range of organisations in attendance, from small online retail start-ups to large Australian multi-channel retailers, all with the objective of either getting some useful tips from the thought leadership presentations or on the lookout for new, innovative vendors. 

Elcom had a distinct advantage over many of the vendors exhibiting, with its ability to provide much more than just  eCommerce functionality.  The ability to plug-in additional modules to power other online applications such as intranets, supplier portals, online training and online induction was seen as very attractive.
