D-Link, one of the largest networking hardware vendors, is one of the few companies with a truly global presence which it achieved by building a network of business units in key markets throughout the world. D-Link began its global push in the 1980s and for the last 17 years has been developing business relationships that have given it access to more than 100 countries through 87 offices worldwide. |
The situation
D-Link wanted a state-of-the-art, versatile web publishing platform that would allow it to build and maintain an online product catalogue easily and quickly and the content creation engine of Community Manager.NET allowed it to do this. In addition, D-Link wanted to use the same platform to manage a distributor/dealer network extranet. |
