John Anstey, Chief Executive Officer Elcom was founded by John Anstey in 1996. During his six years at Corporate Express in the roles of CFO and then CIO, John implemented the technology that assisted Corporate Express to dominate its industry and list on the Australian Stock Exchange. He has advised the Australian Tax Office on the strategies for e-tax the online tax return system, which is regarded as the most successful e-government initiative in Australia. He regularly advises business executives on strategies to take advantage of the internet. Ryan Bloch, General Manager Ryan joined the Elcom executive team in March 2009. Prior to joining Elcom Ryan spent the past 12 years working for the Dimension Data Group both in South Africa and Australia. After completing his MBA at Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Ryan joined Dimension Data Australia where held the position of NSW Data Centre Solutions Manager. Ryan is an experienced member of the IT business community, delivering solutions across a number of industry sectors and geographies. Ron Mannix, Sales Director Ron joined Elcom in 1997, after 6 years at Corporate Express, as a sales manager and manager of the MacOffice division. Since businesses started taking advantage of the web, Ron has been advising clients on web strategies. He assisted David Koch’s publishing business to go online and has been involved in the Hewlett-Packard, Ford CRM, Kia and other large integrated portals. Anthony Milner, Project Director Anthony is a Project Director with twelve years professional experience in the technology industry. He has managed and delivered numerous large, complex projects – both custom and packaged and has experience within a variety of application domains, including Enterprise Content Management, Customer Relationship Management, Learning Management, Workflow and Enterprise Resource Planning. Angus McDonald, Technical Director Since 1992 Angus has developed extensive experience in software development, specifically web application development and CMS, training management, CRM, rostering and payroll applications. His technical leadership role at Elcom makes the most of his creative problem solving and facilitating skills as he manages Elcom’s development, systems administration and helpdesk staff. Angus is passionate about understanding people, particularly clients, and their problems. He loves to help craft a solution, and regards the opportunity to guide Elcom's technical teams as a great honour. He maintains a personal blog in order to refine his thinking and converse with others about Web 2.0, Agile development and the business use of social applications.
