To help users find the information they are after and to improve the relevancy of the search results it is important to put in meaning text in the brief description fields&amp;nbsp;for not only your articles but your documents as well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To add brief descriptions to articles:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Go into Admin -&amp;gt; Publishing -&amp;gt; Folders, and locate the desired article&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Right click the article and choose &amp;quot;Edit Attributes&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Complete the &amp;quot;Brief Description&amp;quot; field with appropriate text&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Save and checkin the article&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To add brief descriptions to documents:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Go into Admin -&amp;gt; Publishing -&amp;gt; Document Library&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Search for the required document, select it and click on the &amp;quot;Edit&amp;quot; button&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Select the option &amp;quot;Keep existing document&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Complete the &amp;quot;Description&amp;quot; field with your required text&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. Save&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
