     Hi,

Did anyone get back to you about this? I don't work for Elcom, but I can try and help.

As far as I know, you can't import HTML pages into CM. The only way you can do it is to create a new article and copy/paste the text/html into the content editor within the article.

By default I dont think you can export as a static HTML page, but I think Elcom have an addon module that might do that for you.

    Hi Kane,

We are able to include file types that you can upload into the system or even alternatively grant ftp access to a specified area on the webserver for you to upload the html files to.

For sites hosted externally the relevant people who have access to the server can grant access to allow users to store the HTML files directly on the server or allow the files .html to be uploaded to the site, we can also grant this access or FTP access directly to our servers for sites hosted internally.

You can take a copy of the html code of a page that you create and you are also able to convert a page into pdf, if that doesnt suit please let us know and we can have out developers see how easy it is to include your requirement into the system.

Hi Kane, Are you trying to run the custom aspx pages under the community manager environment? If you can provide us more information, it would be good.

    Hi Kane,

The file restrictions are found within the database itself, you can find theseFile Restriction under the table called 'UploadedFileRestrictions'

When you query the table you should see something similar to the below screen shot, when allowing a new file type, you must set the 'strContentType' to match the file type you are allowing, this is better know as a mime type.

If you are unsure of the mime type this is a great reference to most known mime types http://www.webmaster-toolkit.com/mime-types.shtml

    File Restriction

When making any changes to the database Elcom highly recommend that a DBA perform all necessary changes, and the database is backed up prior to performing any changes.

    Hi Bradm,

Thanks a lot for your reply. Yes I'm trying to add some customized aspx file. But I can't found where all my other files are. Could you please tell me what is the default storage location for all the article I've created within CM? Thanks

    Hi Kane,

If your after the content of the aspx file you can find this in the 'ArticleModuleAttribute' table.
