There are 7 status of Events:

Active - The Event is Active
Use - when the event is active and available to register.
The user can only register for active events.

Cancelled - The Event is Cancelled
Use - when the event is cancelled and no longer available.
The user is unable to register for a cancelled event.

Closed -The Event is Closed
Use - when the event is finished or booked out.

Deleted - The Event is Deleted
Use - when the event has to be deleted.

Postponed - The Event is Postponed
Use - when the event is postponed to another date and time.

Template - The Event is a Template
Use - when you want to save an Event as a template to use for future events.

Tentative - The Event is Tentative
Use - when the event is not final or certain.
