Restrict moderator access to particular forums within the site

To restrict moderator access to particular forums within the site the administrator needs to perform the following steps:

    1. On the Admin page click on the Access Masks link (under Groups and Users – to the left of the navigation menu

    2. Click on the “New Access Mask” link at the bottom of the Access Masks pag

    3. Create the new mask with no access rights (all check boxes should be unchecked) and save it.

    4. Create the new group and apply the new access mask to this group (leave all checkboxes unchecked) and press the save button. This will open the additional fields to set access to the forum – apply access you’ve just created to the forum that you would like to hid

    5. Assign the users to the group (these users wont have access to the forum)
