    How to remove a menu item from a menu

    Login to website

    CM versions 6.0 and higher

    All you need to do is make the folder inactive


    To make a folder inactive

    Go to:

    Dashboard or Admin > Publishing > Folders

    Select the folder you would like to remove from menu

    Click on Edit Folder

    Untick the Active Box

    Click "Save"

    Now the menu item will be removed from the menu

    If you wish remove to folder under the menu items (Optional)


    Go to:

    Dashboard or Admin > Design and Layout > Menu

    Select the Menu you wish to delete the menu item

    Click on "Edit"

    Scroll down to the Menu Items section (as shown below in the image)

    Search the Selected folders section to find the folder

    Select the folder and click on Remove

    Click "Save"




    CM versions 5.7 and lower


    All you need to do is make the folder inactive

    Select the folder you would like to remove from menu

    Click on Edit Folder

    Now the menu item will be removed from the menu
