Elcoms offline Service is responsible for processing and distributing for many of CM’s offline functions such as distribution of mailing lists, generating user reports and many bulk imports, such as users.

Pre-requisties for Elcom to update the offline service

Framework 3.5 will need to be installed on the server

This MAY require a reboot of the server

The service requires an SMTP to relay through, this can be anonymous or an authenticated relay.

A user which is able to make a network connection to the database server.

Installing the updated Offline Service will require no reboots or any interruption to services/servers on your networks or any issues in end-users accessing any systems.
