Sales - Inside Sales Executive

Background

Due to continued growth and success, both locally and globally, of our market leading Web Content Management platform CommunityManager.NET, we require an experienced Inside Sales Executive to join our Sydney team.

The role is ideal for an up and coming, Inside Sales Representative or Telesales Rep who has ideally worked for WCM vendors such as HP, IBM, EMC, OpenText, Sitecore, Squiz, Ektron etc. and is looking to take that next step in their career as an Inside Sales executive. Job Description Reporting directly to the General Manager, the primary focus of this stimulating and challenging role will be to create and follow up cold and warm leads, build rapport, qualify those leads, sell in the products and services of Elcom and then arrange for the BDM to meet the client and close the deal. You will also be responsible for the ongoing account management of several of Elcom’s accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ability to prospect, cold call and target specific clients;
  • Outstanding phone and communication customer skills;
  • Position solutions, as well as qualify the customer and their environment;
  • Accurately forecast Sales on a regular basis;
  • Ensure real-time accuracy with all company systems;
  • Maintain contact with all Elcom customers in assigned territory to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and cross-sell and up-sell the company product suite;
  • Execution, Follow-Up, and Tracking of all assigned marketing/program leads;
  • Meets or exceeds all daily/weekly /monthly activity metrics for the number of outbound calls, dedicated prospecting time, appointments/scheduled calls set, opportunities added, talk time and lead follow up;
  • Able to message and position the company solutions, as well as the ability to qualify the customer and their environment;
  • Develop and build lasting relationships with clients by providing product information, pricing, quotes and general support to them by liaising internally with Account Managers, Business Development Managers and Product Management teams
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one with Manager to review prior week’s activity report

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in an Inside Sales / Tele Sales role preferably selling software in the Sydney market. You will have a vibrant and outgoing personality. You will be professional, tenacious and enjoy talking on the phone. You will be open to training and development and happy to work on campaigns together with the marketing manager. You will be a team player that adds to the culture and working environment in a positive way.
